With Sacred Journey Of Ku-Kai Vol. 3 Kitaro sets out for the third time on the trail of the Buddhist monk Kukai, who undertook a pilgrimage to the 88 sa­cred temples on the Japanese island of Shikoku over eleven hundred years ago. Kitaro captured this spiritual journey by recording each of the temples‘ bells, making a wide variety of samples and alienating them electro­nically.
