„The Moon On My Doorstep”, Ulita Knaus’ debut with Membran, opened a new chapter for the singer/songwriter in 2015 – and led to her first ever nomination for an ECHO Jazz Award.
After she wasn’t satisfied with her previous album’s performance through a major, Ulita chose Membran to license her new recordings. Following the success of “The Moon On My Doorstep”, Ulita continued working with Membran for her exceptional follow up “Love In This Time” (2017).
In addition to distribution, our in-house graphics team created the artwork, posters and ads for both albums, and our dedicated label management team created the marketing-campaigns and teaser-videos, as well as digital marketing campaigns. Membran also brought Ulita together with another Membran artist, Llorca, whose French remixes established Ulita Knaus in France. Building on this momentum, our Synch division also secured her feature on Jazz Magazine’s “Jazz Divas” compilation.
Through Membran’s publicity campaigns, both albums received exceptional press in all of Ulita’s key territories including GSA, France, and the UK, with both albums entering the iTunes Top 10.
