The Dave Stewart campaign was an interesting and exciting challenge for Membran. Our goal was to re-establish Dave after having taken a longer “pause” as an artist in his own right. The campaign was designed around three albums recorded in Nashville; “The Blackbird Diaries” was followed by “The Ringmaster General” and Dave closed out the trilogy with “Lucky Numbers”.
We leveraged Dave’s outstanding and unique past achievements as a platform to generate exposure for the promotion. Traditional press, radio and online promotion was backed up by personal appearances and interviews. We secured television showcases and brought Dave to the Reeperbahn Festival as a Keynote speaker where he introduced some of latest innovative and groundbreaking ideas, while also using the platform to launch “Lucky Numbers”.
The Dave Stewart campaign was a great demonstration of our teams flexibility and agility in adapting to each artist’s special circumstances to best promote and market their music.
Since then the Membran-Dave Stewart relationship has only flourished and we have entered into a joint venture to market, distribute, and launch new artists that Dave discovers from all corners of the globe.
